Great post! Thanks for all your firsthand history! It reminds me how easy it is for kids to grow up in segregated societies and accept it without much fuss.
I love the image of the banned book being secretly circulated. As you say, forbidding something is the best advertisement ever. Just ask the Catholic Church.
Hope you enjoy the show! It's quite good and there were many very exciting moments in it. |
