| Insightful, as usual. Mid-act 2 I turned to my future son-in-law and said quietly (I think) “These lyrics suck!” The pachyderm rhyme did me in… I thought the music served the material, such as it was, relatively well. It’s a romance novel set in a circus with songs. |
