I think production teams and artists could be more diligent in opening the house on time. Sometimes there are good reasons for late openings- especially in the age of COVID when understudies and swings have been going on in record numbers- but more often than not it's because of actors arriving late or lack of attention to the clock. I've seen stage managers standing around having a chat about where they had dinner as harried house managers urge them to give the okay to open the house.
