| That confused me too. I was sitting there wondering if his character was supposed to have some sort of early-onset dementia. I looked up a synopsis of the book on the way home - his character is either 90 or 93 (he can't remember) and his scenes take place in 2001. Hal Holbrook played the role in the movie. |
