anyone know the deal with the $27 standing room tickets? are they on sale in advance or the day of? how early do you have to get there to likely get them? thanks

I went and got standing room a couple of weeks ago. Standing room tickets go on sale an hour before the show. Each person in line is allowed up to 5 (!), and the number they have available each night varies, not sure why.

Definitely get there before the lottery (2 1/2 hours before) as lots of lottery losers will probably get in line.

Did the standing room on Fri., 6/10 for the 3:00PM show -- the box office told me there were 22 spots available with a max. of 2 tickets allowed per person -- tickets went on sale at 2:00 PM -- by 9:00AM every available spot had been accounted for (5-hour wait)
