I was successful at the lottery for Sunday’s 6:30pm show. There was a healthy crowd. But more seats are offered than most lotteries. I think someone said there were 28. Seats are on the far sides of the orchestra and possibly boxes. I was in the last seat in row F, audience right. The sight lines were dreadful and it was worse for those who were sitting closer. The seats extend beyond the proscenium and there are lighting fixtures that hang down that block views when the staging is on the upper tiers. I was able to move a few seats in once the show started and it made a huge difference but I missed seeing the opening scene almost entirely. So youse pay your $30 and takes your chance. Some seats are better than others.

Anyone know how the standing room sales work? I assume they don't sell them unless they're sold out, which is pretty standard with all shows that do standing room.

Do they start selling them when the box office opens? Or do they wait, a la Book of Mormon, till five minutes before show time? Or maybe it's two hours before?? Anyone know?

Also, is it cash only, and are you allowed to buy two SRO tickets or only one per person in line?

I asked at the box office. The lottery is for 20-30 tickets. They've been having 20-200 people in line.

Names entered 2 1/2 hours before curtain. Lottery held 2 hours before. $30 cash. Cash only. 2 tickets per lottery winner.

It's well organized.
