From Playbill.com: Lottery Rush: $35 - the show offers a day-of-performance lottery for Golden Circle seats in the first two rows of Broadway’s historic Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway, New York, NY). Golden Circle ticketholders will be escorted onto the stage to watch the climatic fight during the final 20 minutes of the performance. Entry to the lottery will begin two hours prior to each performance and the winners will be announced 90 minutes prior to curtain. The seats will be priced at the special rate of $35 each, limit two tickets per person. All tickets are subject to availability.
My experience: I entered the lottery but did not win. But they announced that if you didn't win you could still get a ticket with discount ($55) which was better than the current discount offer. So I immediately stood in a line at the box office and they had an excellent seat (side FRONT row orchestra). I don't know if that's usual $55 discount seats or not. But the guy who sat next to me also didn't win the lottery.
Since we were not in the Golden Circle we could not go to the stage seats but during the fight scene when the ring comes out to the orchestra seats, we were encouraged to stand up and cheer. The view wasn't that great as you won't be able to see the other side of the ring but the fight was really close and the added excitement is there.
Although the balcony section of Winter Garden theatre is very good and you'll be happy to see the show from there (especially if you get a discount ticket), but this $55 ticket after the lottery is also a fantastic option, especially if you are sitting front side orchestra.
