Dirty Little Showtunes--SF's version of Forbidden Broadway

I've seen a few DLS productions over the years and its usually TOm Orr and a piano making a fun evening of gay lyrics to classic broadway tunes. When the show was announced for the main season, i was a little skeptic. Well Tom has added a gang of 4 which really opens up the "show" dividing the evening up nicely. How can one not like two nuns singing about the virtues of safe sex to the tune of Maria from sound of music. Or the leather guys butching it up in Nothin like a Dame switched to we ain't dames and then going into a chorus of the leathers and drag queens should get along from oklahoma. there are non-R&H songs also including Sondheim's Agony changed to monogomous relationships. You get the picture. 2H10M with intermission of pretty much laughing throughout. I also felt this parody matches a little better with the broadway shows (like Annie and her puppet for Maybe) in line with Forbidden Broadway although its main emphases is gay theme and not broadway spoof. lsst night was first preview and it can only get better.
