Peter Murphy, formerly of Bauhaus, is credited with spearheading and personifying the gothic rock movement. Known as "The Godfather of Goth," he has gone on to release several solo albums, including Deep, and Love Hysteria. His most recent album, Ninth, has been described by Consequence of Sound as "punk, jaunt, goth, doom, ’80s gloom - everything is present and accounted for."

Awadagin Pratt has been the subject of numerous articles in the national press, including Newsweek, People Magazine and New York Newsday. He was named one of the 50 Leaders of Tomorrow in Ebony Magazine's special 50th anniversary issue and has been featured on National Public Radio's Performance Today, St. Paul Sunday Morning and Weekend Edition. On television, Mr. Pratt has performed on the Today Show, Good Morning America and Sesame Street, been profiled on CBS Sunday Morning and was one of the featured soloists on PBS's Live from the Kennedy Center. In November 2009, Mr. Pratt was one of four artists selected to perform at a White House classical music event hosted by President and Mrs. Obama. He has performed two other times at the White House, both at the invitation of President and Mrs. Clinton

New York City, 1978) is a composer, performer, educator, and scholar who works across a broad spectrum of jazz-based musical idioms. His recent recording, Travail, Transformation & Flow (Pi 2009), was chosen as the #1 Jazz Album of the year by The New York Times. An alto saxophonist, Lehman has performed and recorded nationally and internationally with his own ensembles and with those led by Anthony Braxton, Vijay Iyer, Jason Moran, Meshell Ndegeocello, and High Priest of Anti-Pop Consortium. His work has received rave reviews in Artforum, Downbeat Magazine, The New York Times, Newsweek, and The Wire, and on National Public Radio and the BBC
