The showing at the Eswards Mira Meaa (one of the better venues in San Diego) drew an audience that filled 50+% of the seats. Better by a lot than NT Live, but the Met showings at this venue often sell out and/or take up two theatres.

I saw this production live last June, and I enjoyed the close ups, which revealed far more nuanced acting than I recalled from the live performance. I need to think on my overall reaction, as I didn't like the interpretation when I saw it earlier. Another chance at it had me seeing things I missed before.

Bill, in San Diego
