The disparity between seeing the floor and not seeing the floor is not so great. All of the projections on the floor are also on the wall. And the stage is raked (if I'm remembering correctly), so you see most of the other wonderful ways in which the floor is used. We were in the front Stalls, and the show/view was great.

But I would say the closer seat is worth being in, and you want to avoid being significantly under the overhang if possible.
