I believe Sal Mineo's last performance was in SF in the comedy "P.S. Your Cat is Dead." I has the opportunity to interview him near the end of the show's run. He was funny, kind and fascinating.

I first met this charming man when I was part of the camera crew on Rebel Without a Cause. I maintained a friendship with him until his untimely death. James Franco has made a film of his last days on earth that has scenes of the rehearsals of "P.S. Your Cat is Dead". The film is called SAL
