BARBRA

Posted by: AnObserver 08:07 pm EST 11/30/13

Who wrote the special lyrics for Barbra's opening number on PBS last night?

I couldn't figure out if she was saying "knishes" are "delicious"....or are not.

Did Don Black write these lyrics? The Bergmans?

Barbra's taste - her "passion for design" - is sometimes questionable, but so far I've enjoyed this sentimental, nostalgic, somewhat corny treat. (I've only seen the first 15 minutes or so.) I'd prefer to see Barbra referencing her early self than see "A Star Is Bored" again.
