I had a lovely time at this show. It is disarmingly wonderful. And Steve Hoggett's less is more direction and choreography a huge relief after all the recent Broadway shows on steroids.

Also - I noted with great pleasure that though our central guy (And co creator) may be a rock guitarist - but even when he was occasionally doing that weird rock guitar thing where you ball up as if in great pain and bend and leap as you assault your guitar - the sound design was very laid back - letting us hear what he was doing without having a blasting guitar in our faces.

As a result, we heard the arrangements, and every word of the lyrics. god bless them, every one.
