unfortunately the theatre is no more. but the building, in fact all the buildings on the 500 block of pacific are historical buildings dating back to the gold rush. what is more, this is the block that once was called the international settlement, and most of the buildings had clubs in them. it was the same kind of street as what broadway became (that's broadway sf) years later, one block north. you can see what this block looked like in the 1950's in the movie of pal joey.
