Maybe Barbra....?

I don't think a feature film of Barbra in GYPSY will happen.

BUT...

If the upcoming live SOUND OF MUSIC is a ratings success - and if Barbra watches it and likes it - I could totally see her doing a live TV event like that of GYPSY. (Even though she's not the right age, but as we've seen on the PBS special, she can be photographed and lit to look much younger.)

She seems to have the stamina.
