It was also pronounced Low-ee's in the Bronx too, as the Loew's Paradise is one of the most beautiful movie palaces ever; fortunately they have restored most of it. I don't think until they started to have advertisements during the coming attrations which had a voice-over with the company's preferred pronounciation of "Low's" did anyone ever think twice about calling it "Low-ee's".
