For me, there was just so much happening on the stage and it just added up to not enough. The elephants, the daffodils, the mermaid etc... it almost felt like they didn't trust the material enough so they kept throwing "moments" at us, hoping we wouldn't notice that the music and lyrics weren't all that great.
