I felt the same way about "Far From Heaven," despite the direction, er, set (which determined too much of the ham-fisted blocking). Now that I have the album, I'm still besotted, perhaps even more so, and hope it will land somewhere and its staging re-thought (far more simply, would be my advice; almost an Wilder-like empty stage). We sometimes cherish shows for mysterious reasons, some of our responses to the art, sometimes our personal connection to what's being explored. Sometimes we never know.
