I guess I think of Cumpsty and Mastrantonio as being in slightly different categories (probably unfairly to Cumpsty). I think of Cumpsty's casting in such a small part as being luxurious casting, similar to the casting of Tony nominees like Danny Burstein, Anthony Crivello and Daniel Jenkins in small roles in Golden Boy. Cumpsty has a history with Roundabout, he got above-the-title billing, he may have found the part interesting or had some other reason to take it.

With Mastrantonio, however, I think of her as being somewhat of a "movie star," and this is her first Broadway show in 10 years. She obviously feels differently, but I would have thought she would have looked for a part with more impact for her return to Broadway.
