Lincoln Center Theater’s Platform Series, a forum for public discussion between Lincoln Center Theater artists and interested theatergoers, continues its 16th season on Thursday, December 19 at 6pm with JEFF GOLDBLUM and LAURIE METCALF the stars of LCT’s current Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater production of DOMESTICATED, the new play by Bruce Norris, directed by Anna D. Shapiro. DOMESTICATED, which opened on Monday, November 4, is running through Sunday, January 5.



Platform Series events take place in the early evening in the lobby of the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street). Admission is free and open to all; however, seating in the lobby is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis only, beginning at a half hour before the talk. Bruce Norris’ new play DOMESTICATED, commissioned by Lincoln Center Theater, is about politics and gender involving a husband and wife (Jeff Goldblum and Laurie Metcalf) whose marriage is upended when they become embroiled in a scandal.



JEFF GOLDBLUM LCT: debut. Broadway: recent credits include Seminar, The Pillowman (Outer Critics’ Circle Award, Drama Critics’ Award, Drama Desk and Drama League noms.). London: The Prisoner of Second Avenue (West End), Speed-the-Plow (Old Vic). Film includes Adam Resurrected, Nashville, The Life Aquatic, Buckaroo Banzai, Igby Goes Down, Pittsburgh, Jurassic Park, Independence Day, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Powder, Mr. Fronst, Annie Hall, The Big Chill, Silverado, The Fly, Deep Cover, The Right Stuff, Between The Lines, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Into the Night, Next Stop Greenwich Village, The Tall Guy. He was nominated for an Academy Award for directing the live-action short Little Surprises and an Emmy Award for his appearance on “Will & Grace” and served on the jury of the 1999 Cannes Film Festival.
