I don't think that NewtonUK really was saying that McNally had committed some huge faux pas, though I see why you got that from what he wrote. I think he intended his last sentence to start, "These are small errors," not "These are not small errors." The sentence makes much more sense without the not. I've done stuff like that myself. You start a sentence one way, then you kind of rethink it, but you forget to take out a certain world or to add a crucial word after you've changed the rest of it.

In any case, he still recommends the play and likes it. So he clearly didn't think that those two errors destroyed it or invalidated the whole experience.
