NAKED RADIO LIVE—LETTERS TO SANTA

ONE NIGHT ONLY LIVE HOLIDAY-THEMED PODCAST EVENT

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2013 AT THE NEW SCHOOL FOR DRAMA THEATER

Naked Angels (Liz Carlson, Artistic Director) announced that Naked Radio Live, the company’s annual holiday bash version of its popular Naked Radio podcast series, will be held Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 7:30 pm at The New School for Drama Theater (151 Bank Street, 3rd Floor, just west of Washington Street).

Hosted by Halley Feiffer and Josh Koenigsberg, Naked Radio Live—Letters to Santa will feature three new holiday-themed radio plays by Robert Askins, Dipika Guha and Lucas Kavner. The cast includes Jon Bass, Eric Clem, Michael Cullen, Aaron Costa Ganis, Megan Hill, Azhar Khan, Kathryn Kates, Ariana Seigel and Emma Tattenbaum-Fine. The evening will be directed by Laura Savia and will include musical direction by Jack Mitchell and the work of foley artist Tony Vo.

Naked Radio is Naked Angels' monthly podcast of new short plays, comedic sketches, interviews, and music that brings a theatrical context to a mobile audience. Season 4 of Naked Radio has hosted plays by Alex Barron, Greg Keller, Sylvia Khoury, Josh Koenigsberg, Jen Silverman, Max Posner and Anna Ziegler as well as music by Miko & The Muskett.

Naked Radio Live is the company’s annual holiday soiree where three new holiday radio plays are performed for a live audience, featuring music, special guests, and fun seasonal shenanigans. The event is also recorded and distributed as a podcast for the Naked Radio listening audience.
