I'm sure the movie version must differ greatly from the stage musical it's adapted from, but I must admit that the old film, starring Donald O'Connor and Olga San Juan, is one of my guilty pleasures, especially the carnival song, "Down at Baba's Alley," which seems to have been written for the movie. I haven't spied it on TV for quite some time, unfortunately.
