It seems to be that both Sierra Boggess and Laura Osnes would be ideal casting for Maria in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, because both are pretty much perfect for in vocal terms plus the fact that both come across on stage as very sincere and innocent (in a good way) without it seeming like they're "acting" sincere and innocent.
