Yep, pretty much. Except I wouldn't say they all "sit down and take a break."

Scenic shifts, camera shifts, costume changes, any makeup touch-ups, microphone issues, etc will all be handled during the commercial breaks. I expect there will be more frequent, shorter breaks for the broadcast, but I could be way off base. Commercial breaks will probably very busy for most of the crew and principal actors.

Similarly to intermission in a Broadway musical - it's a break for the audience, but behind the scenes, it can be pretty insane (depending on the show, of course)!
