Slightly OT: 'Nutracker Under the Dome'

Posted by: PatrickHSF 10:44 pm EST 12/03/13

SF Ballet has created a charming light and audio-visual show projected inside the dome at Westfield Center. It is a very abbreviated synopsis of their Nutcracker. Shows are every half hour starting at 5:00 p.m., and run about 8 minutes. The music sounds great and they do some clever lighting and visual effects on the dome and surrounding arches. If you're in the area doing some shopping, grab a cup of coffee or glass of bubbly at La Boulange and enjoy the show.

(Though, for you old timers like me, it cannot compare to when Emporium used to hoist the mini carnival rides on the roof outside. THAT was awesome!)
