I wonder if they will tape a run-through, to air in case of any profound technical glitches. Also - Given that the DVD is scheduled to be released a mere 2 weeks after the live telecast, I almost wonder if the DVD will be a prerecorded run, instead of the actual live footage. I think it would be commonplace to have such a run recorded to use for later editing if need be, etc, but if they were going to take the time to consider such edits for the DVD, I tend to think the release date might not be quite so soon. Then again, maybe they're confident that if anything would need to be "fixed" it could be done that quickly.
