I would certainly LOVE to see a TV version of She Loves Me, as would many of us. But realistically, I have a feeling there would be many many more recognizable titles to consider first. The theatre community would tune in, but would anyone else? Much of the reasoning behind the Sound of Music, surely, is the fact that the title (and the film) are so universally loved and known - even if this were Underwood (???, lol) and company doing She Loves Me instead, would anyone in the general public tune in? And even if they did it next year, I don't think the mere success of the Sound Of Music broadcast would be enough to "sell" a rather obscure title. (BTW - no, I am NOT suggesting that Underwood star in such a She Loves Me production. Just to make that clear.)
