We sat in the first row balcony right for 12th Night and 1st row balcony left for Richard III. I had some trouble seeing the front part of the stage because of the rail and lights. We brought cushions that helped a little.
Obviously the more center you are the better.

The front of the balcony is quite close to the actors in comparison to some of the biggest theaters. However, it does seem to go back pretty far.
