I do not believe it was raked before. I think the raking in the orchestra was introduced when the traditional seats were installed.

I do not recall people saying that back tables or banquettes were not good seats, so your view should be fine. The more important thing to keep in mind is that this CABARET takes place on various levels above the stage and you wouldn't want the mezzanine overhang to block your view of the upper levels. But that may not be an issue at this theatre.
