Kirstie Alley as Margo Channing? Galumphing through "But Alive?"

Bacall has two things, among many, that Alley lacks: true glamour and high style. When properly employed, as in "Applause," "Murder on the Orient Express," and others, Bacall's vinegar can make the audience "as bees to honey."

Bacall's old High Point commercials are probably funnier and have more zing than Alley's new sitcom (which I have not seen as yet.)
