the premise works. we have data to support this. you are saying it no longer works. what evidence do you have to support that?

again, audiences respond to engaging characters and entertaining story lines and accomplished performances. ALL IN THE FAMILY was a hit neither because of nor in spite of the furniture. put something on with that kind of writing today and you could set it in sanford and son's junk yard and it would work.
