Though the seating is in the round, it felt to me that the play was directed in a way that favors those who are seated in the three quarters of the theatre that are the traditional seating area. Just something to keep in mind. (I forget the numbering, but the additional seating area is the one that has fewer rows.)

I would agree with this. I sat in the 100s (center of the traditional section), and I felt there were very few circumstances when I was looking at the back of someone giving a key speech. I think I would have felt that way more if I had been sitting in the 200s (the new seating area).

That being said, plenty of people who have sat in the 200s have said it was completely fine.

By the way, I'm a little surprised the show hasn't extended at all. It didn't get rave reviews, but I was still expecting a modest extension.

I sat in the far right section from the point of view of being in the center section. It was a front row seat, and the entire first act besides the first brief scene, I basically had a view of Jeff Goldman's back. Often he blocked the view of Laurie Metcalf completely even though she was directly facing me, and I rarely saw his face for the first half.

(slight spoilers)

ileen, you didn't really miss anything. Just picture Jeff Goldblum with a hangdog expression for an hour, and that's basically what you missed. (Not blaming him; there's nothing for him to play in the first act.)

I also missed quite a bit of everything else on stage. He was seated pretty much directly in front of me, so there were many times when he blocked all stage action from my view during act one.
