I don't recall the film having all those swastikas during the Festival scene. It figures most prominently in the film when the Captain tears up the flag, plus some of the Nazis wear it on their armbands. Granted, it's probably correctly for the scene, just even more creepy for a musical that at heart is a bit sweeter than "Cabaret". Plus, didn't realize Rolf sees the family in hiding at the Abbey but doesn't turn them in to his superiors in this version.
