Because of the lack of experience and the nature of the production (oh yes those retakes and that editing are so very very important to the excellence of the first film) I find it difficult to judge Underwood as an actress. This performance though amateurish was not without charms. I thought she related well on a one on one basis with the children and of course has a wonderful singing voice. She does have charisma. I give her much credit for having the courage to take on this challenge and hope that if she wishes to continue acting she can find some less high profile projects to continue her growth.
