"I think one of the biggest reasons this broadcast was such a letdown was the 'look'. It looked like a cheap, chintzy daytime soap opera, ala Days of Our Lives. This had no 'live event' excitement." What did you want it to look like? Ever see a live concert or Broadway show on HBO? PBS? That's what video tape looks like. The whole point is that it was LIVE and not film. They couldn't have made it more clear.
