Are discount codes accepted at MSG Box Office?

Travelzoo has a good discount code for A Christmas Story but Ticketmaster fees are around $16, even on a $29.50 ticket, which is crazy. If I go in person, will the box office accept the code and allow you to avoid the fees? The only options described for the code are online or calling the box office.
