My first thought was Once Upon a Mattress.

It's relatively easy to sing, known just enough and has a history of being broadcast. Find a comic actress who can sing and it would be great. Melissa McCarthy? Kristen Chenoweth?

Though I'd rather see Guys and Dolls.
