Wouldn't it make sense to, you know, actually SEE their performances (most of them haven't even started rehearsals yet!) before we anoint the nominees? I never understand these posts.

P.S. - It's shoo-in, not shoe-in.

actually--only two listed weren't in previous productions

so technically, someone could have ventured out to see Bridges and Violet and If/Then in previous productions with these leads. ONly Bullets and Cabaret are productions that haven't been seen by the public in performance.

With only five nominees, one of these women must get the boot. Therefore shoe-in may be appropriate. (Marin Mazzie may be in the featured category by the way.)
