Audra was in REALLY great voice last night.

I've seen her perform live probably more than any other NYC staple, and I've heard Audra on good days and Audra on not-so-good days.

People gonna catch colds. We're only human.

But god, she was in great voice last night. It's so fun to watch the ways she just OPENS that mask and lets everything resonate up in there, managing to pull more subtext and line readings out of a cold warhorse like "Climb Ev'ry Mountain," than any Mother Abbess I've ever seen, no doubt. This woman is a fucking force of nature and we are SO lucky that she's becoming a household name.
