I can't say that it was a disappointment, because I didn't expect much, but I did find it surprisingly lifeless.

Ronald Reagan famously set aside a briefing book for a 1983 Group of 7 summit meeting to watch a rerun of “The Sound of Music.”

That would have made a great framing device for the broadcast.
