THE SOUND OF MUSIC is not the type of material that Underwood is famous for performing and that her fans would presumably want to see and hear her perform.

Perhaps, but the 99,000 views and 2,300 replies in the Sound of Music thread on one of her fan forums would seem to suggest otherwise, eh? Think we'll get 2,300 posts on the broadcast in this forum?

I daresay even some Chatterati would tune in if the situation were reversed and, say, Audra McDonald sang at the CMAs. Because that's what being a "fan" means.
