Another one of my posts that mysteriously disappears halfway through. I don't know why that keeps happening. Anyway, the mysteriously vanished remainder read, ". . . American Idol and Dancing With the Stars regularly drew bigger audiences at their recent peaks, and they didn't cost $9 million per episode. The Sound of Music did okay; it didn't tank. It was a respectable ratings performance for 2013. To say more than that, I think, is to get a bit carried away."
