Back from Palm Springs and the wonderful Palm Springs Follies

Posted by: Richard Connema 01:25 am EST 12/07/13

Back from the Palm Springs Follies. Wonderful two hour and half review featuring dancing/singing artists over 50. Everyone of the performers have Broadway credits. These dancers are terrific.

One terrific dancer is Randy Donley who appeared on Broadway in many shows is 74 and he can still dance up a storm. The oldest is Dick Francis and he is 84 years young. He appeared in many Broadway show also plus made numerous appearances on "The Ed Sullivan Show' Yep he is still dancing and not missing a beat.

Riff Markowitz is part Don Rickels and part Catskill comic and does a bang up job nicely insulting the front rows of the theatre. Guest star Susan Anton who is 62 now still has a great voice.

The last scene of the revue is a military scene where they salute veterans. I was one of the five veterans who received a special salute from the cast.
