Grease, West Side, or a stage version of the Wizard of Oz

These are perhaps the most iconic American musicals and would appeal to the masses - especially with a superstar thrown in here or there.

West Side Story seems tailor-made for the cavernous Grumman studio where SOM was staged.

My Fair Lady - while not as iconic, would probably do well with Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman in the leads.

Maybe Rent, Chicago or Hairspray in a few years?
