I agree that this is probably the only way we could see Bette do Dolly.. and I think she should do it.

It would also be a pretty probable venture with either Whoopi or Queen Latifah as Dolly.

Now I'm guessing there can not be another film version of Dolly while Carol is still with us - she can't lose the role twice - it just wouldn't be right
