Ah, remember when everyone learned that Ms. Rondstadt at age 35 was playing the 17 year-old Mabel in PIRATES? Singing in a voice not known for? Yes, she was loved. But many were appalled by her chutzpah and offended by her acting (they let her singing all but two lines; she was far less accomplished than Ms. Underwood as an actor). Risk taking is part of the business called Show. Renee Fleming did a rock album.
