You are talking about like one spoken dialogue line in each of two acts vs. lots of dialogue for Maria in "SOM". Ronstadt's singing and presence was enchanting. The funny story is apparently one night apparently forgot her line which, in essence, was to get her sisters off-stage. So she just blanked for a minute and called out "Git!!!". Yes, they mocked her in "Forbidden Broadway", but her singing was really much more impressive than Carrie Underwood's the other night. Only if there had been more dialogue for Linda would there have been a real problem.
