Excellent suggestion, because we might discover a new star in Jason and Streisand would be more likely to participate. I did see the pre-Broadway try-out in Boston fifty-one years ago. For all of the wonderful songs and performers in "I Can Get It For You Wholesale," the lead character is just not likable. That comes across on the OCR, but much more in the theater. So I never blamed Elliot Gould for the failure of the musical in New York. Miracles can happen. I hope someone can find a way to bring this musical back!
